The International Investment Advisor TIIA is a Corporate Finance Advisory firm specializing in working with the international donors in the field of Corporate Finance in particular valuation of companies and privatization assistance to the Government of Egypt. We have been active in privatization since its initial start in Egypt and have established a solid reputation in this field with both the Government of Egypt and the donors. Our reputation is derived from our track record of outstanding performance since 1995.

We have performed major assignments for USAID Privatization Projects managed subsequently by Bechtel and Arthur Andersen. These assignments included Government Bonds study, valuation studies and preparation of Information Memorandum and identification of potential strategic partners. Additionally, we have recently won within a consortium of Price Waterhouse Coopers the new USAID Contract to advise the Government of Egypt on Privatization for the upcoming four years. For Canadian AID, TIIA is their local advisor for all their privatization activities in Egypt.  In this capacity we handle the valuation of 5 companies and advice the government for Anchor investor sale.

Our relationship is equally strong with the EC two largest projects, which are the Privatization Project, and the Private Sector Development Project. We have won based on competitive bidding two tenders one in association with a major French Bank (Societe Generale) and the second in association with a major British firm (W.S Atkins). In this respect we have performed major valuation and privatization assignments for 3 companies and business plans for around 30 companies.

Our sister company, TIIA Underwriting Company is an Investment Banking Company that specializes in underwriting and investment banking in particular for private equity. The Government of Egypt has selected 38 International and local investment banks as qualified institution for investment banking and our company have been selected on its own without any other local or foreign association. It is our policy to be independent but to cooperate with International Banks on a case-by-case basis.

Hassan M. Hussein is the Chairman & Managing Director of TIIA Underwriting and the CEO of The International Investment Advisor. He has been appointed, through TIIA, as the Middle East Representative of KBC Bank-Brussels one of the leading European Commercial Banks.
